Inspired by true events, Hold On is a testament to the town that built the space shuttle. Told from the perspective of six high schoolers in 2011, this brand-new musical features music by singer-songwriter Kevin Browne, and a book by award-winning playwright Ian Brett Gadapee. Hold On is a story of home, heart, and hope, showcasing the people who dedicated their lives to the Shuttle program.
Windmill is still eagerly looking to further develop this project, though for now,

Centering around Esther, a goth girl who finds her way back to the church she once called home, Sanctuary is a story about love, loss, pain, and fear. Sanctuary is an honest conversation between two people who have been hurt deeply by the church that once loved them, one who stayed and one who left, and asks the question: how can God be a father when our own fathers too often fall short?

Sanctuary was originally taken on tour in the summer of 2021, and Windmill is very excited about beginning a second tour later this year!

Premiered at The Orlando Fringe Festival in May of 2021, You’ll Figure It Out ... Eventually by Ian Brett Gadapee is a hilariously oxymoronic show as a playwright describes to the audience why she does not have a play written for them to see, despite the fact that she is the show they are watching. As the sole character, she recounts the last few months of her life as she has desperately tried - and failed - to write a good show. She eventually resolves to draw on her own life for inspiration and while in the play, decides to write a play about a playwright trying to write a play. Hopefully that one will be a success.
The Magnolia Chronicles is a combination of two short plays: Wine, Woman, and Song and That Good Night. Telling stories of love and loss, these plays both have meaningful lessons to teach their viewers. The first proves love is both a blessing and a call to work; the second demonstrates the way tragedy affects people, with either unity or chasmic chaos. Both stories are set in the same restaurant - The Magnolia Ballroom - which shows the impact tied to a place because of different experiences. The same location could mean prosperity for one, and devastation for another. In addition, both stories show that we can never know the future, one moment could be full of love and laughter, but be overrun by devastation and pain in the next. Therefore, The Magnolia Chronicles teaches that we should treasure every possible minute with those we love and learn to truly help those who have lost that opportunity.
